This is PWS’s livelihood program under the guidance of UN-SDG-1, which takes care of “defeating poverty by addressing its root causes.” Multi-faceted poverty in Pakistan is due to a lack of income as well as people’s access to basic civic amenities. Women are disproportionately affected due to their low participation in the labor force, discrimination in wage rates, illiteracy, and inability to access the high-end market.
