The main objectives of the project included:

• Strengthening public demand for efficient, transparent, inclusive, responsive, and accountable local governments through evidence-based debates, dialogues, discussions, and public awareness initiatives.
• To enable CSOs and citizens for effectively engaging relevant govt. institutions and establishing partnerships for efficient, transparent, inclusive, responsible and accountable local governments.
• To build capacity of journalists, media groups, and social media activists for accessing information, analyzing data, and producing investigative reports with focus on promoting efficient, transparent, inclusive, responsive and accountable Local Governments.
